Our Coffee House Conversations are a culturally relevant learning opportunity, conversational in nature and biblically-based. Remember our Lord's words from Ephesians 4:16, "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." We want to be responsive to Jesus' prayer for us and to become the people He intended us to be. We will be meeting at the Borders in Waldorf, Friday the 3rd, of September, at 7 pm.

Join us for our Women's Tea on Saturday, September 18th! This will be our last tea together this year! We'll be sharing about helpful ways to get more out of our Bible reading and praying for each other. Susan Jennings will be hosting it at her home from 10 am - Noon.
Genesis: The Beauty of God's Tender Mercy! Come and discover God's mercy and healing in your life as you study the life of Abraham in the book of Genesis with the TWV Women's Ministry! Lori Connell will lead us in finding beauty in our lives, even in those things we thought were lost or broken, as we look at the life of the man God called friend. This is a three week series on Thursday evenings this month and it will prepare you to get even more out of the upcoming women's retreat in October. The theme of the retreat is Beauty from Ashes and this study is the precursor to it so don't miss out on this chance to go deeper with the Lord and your girlfriends! Sign up now for some great Thursday evenings (7-9pm) of sharing and growing on September the 9th, 16th and 23rd! The Sign up sheet is in the Sanctuary.
The Waldorf Vineyard will be having a Women's Ministry Retreat in October! We will be partnering with the Vineyard Central Maryland Community Church again and this year we'll be going to the Eastern Shore! We've got a time share on private property with a house, cottage and fun center. Mark these dates, October 15-17 on your calendar now! Many women shared how God met them and changed them at last year's retreat and we are looking for the Lord to meet us in a powerful way again this year so that we might become his rare and beautiful treasures. Our theme this year comes from Proverbs 24:3-4. We are looking for ideas and people to lead a fundraiser to raise money for the retreat. If you can help, please see Alice Young, Lori Connell or Mary Glotfelty to share your plans!

Join us on Saturday, September 25th, as we walk and pray together for the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God into our community and our nation. We are petitioning God for the health and the protection of deliverance of our community focusing on specific needs and events. Remember our Lord's words from Joshua 5:2-5, The Lord said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times. Have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in." We will meet at the Church at 9 am and go from there!
