Evening Intercessory Prayer

Hands held in Prayer

We'd love for you to join us on the third Friday evening of each month, for about an hour, as we pray specifically for the church and our community. Prayer is the engine that makes the church run, without your involvement, we are not reaching our full potential. Please mark your calendar and we will see you Friday the 15th!

In John 7:37-8 Jesus said: "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." Will you come? Will you invite others to come?

Please call the Church for more information.

Coffee House Conversations

People meeting over coffee

Our Coffee House Conversations are a culturally relevant learning opportunity, conversational in nature and biblically-based. Remember our Lord's words from Ephesians 4:16, "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." We want to be responsive to Jesus' prayer for us and to become the people He intended us to be. The location of our next meeting on Friday the 1st, will be announced soon.

Please call the Church for more information.

Treasure Hunt

A treasure Chest

Our Treasure Hunts provide a God-encounter for people in our community whom He has already prepared. We do this so that people who may not know God can experience God's love for them. You too can participate to do something about finding the lost and helping them experience more of God in new ways.

Please call the Church for more information.

Women's Ministry Retreat

The Waldorf Vineyard will be having a Women's Ministry Retreat in October! We will be partnering with the Vineyard Central Maryland Community Church again and this year we'll be going to the Eastern Shore! We've got a time share on private property with a house, cottage and fun center. Mark these dates, October 15-17 on your calendar now! Many women shared how God met them and changed them at last year's retreat and we are looking for the Lord to meet us in a powerful way again this year so that we might become his rare and beautiful treasures. Our theme this year comes from Proverbs 24:3-4. We are looking for ideas and people to lead a fundraiser to raise money for the retreat. If you can help, please see Alice Young, Lori Connell or Mary Glotfelty to share your plans!

Please call the Church for more information.

Prayer Walk

A person walking on a wall

Join us on Saturday, October 30th, as we walk and pray together for the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God into our community and our nation. We are petitioning God for the health and the protection of deliverance of our community focusing on specific needs and events. Remember our Lord's words from Joshua 5:2-5, The Lord said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times. Have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in." We will meet at the Church at 9 am.

Our 2010 Neighborhood Outreach

This is a picture of large banner hanging in the trees at our October Outreach.

Join the Waldorf Vineyard Christian Fellowship for our annual neighborhood outreach. This event, held each October 31st at about 6 pm, is our opportunity to reach out, touch the community and share Jesus Christ with our neighbors. We set up an abundance of lights to well light the yard. We grill free hot dogs, provide free chips, soda, coffee and of course candy. We also have simple games with prizes for the little kids who come. We also hang a large banner that says "It's all about Jesus", meaning, the reason for our going all out for our neighbors this way is because of what Jesus means to us, and we do it for Jesus, for the increase of his kingdom in the hearts of mankind.
