Do you know the condition of your own heart? What would God say about it? We're going to take a look at the life of David, a man who had problems with fear and craving, a man who was both a warrior and a songwriter, and a man who was described by God as someone after his own heart. As we learn about David's heart, let the Holy Spirit scan your heart and discover God's awesome love for you.
This Teaching Series continues Sunday, March 4th and runs through the 25th with follow-ups on Wednesday evenings during our Evening Kinships through the 28th.
The Church Kinship is following up our Sunday Worship teaching about David's heart from the series "Heart Scans from God". Please join us at 7pm on Wednesdays!
Unlike a bible study, our Coffee House Conversations provide an opportunity to join together with others to talk about how to strengthen our relationship with God and how to experience him more. No rules, no religion, just real people building relationship with God and with each other! This months meeting will be on Friday the 2nd, at Panera Bread, in Waldorf.
Our Treasure Hunts provide a God-encounter for people in our community whom He has already prepared. We do this so that people who may not know God can experience God's love for them. You too can participate to do something about finding the lost and helping them experience more of God in new ways. We will be meeting at the Church, on Saturday, at 12:30 pm. See you there!
Our Beth Moore Study will continue March 3rd for eight weeks on Saturdays at 10 am. This is going to be another life changing study as we explore David's life and God's relationship to humankind with all its ups and downs. God will not give up on you. Come and learn why. The Sign up sheet is in the Sanctuary and the cost for the workbooks is $17.
We'd love for you to join us on the third Friday evening of each month, for about an hour, as we pray specifically for the church and our community. Prayer is the engine that makes the church run, without your involvement, we are not reaching our full potential. Please mark your calendar and we will see you Friday the 16th!
In John 7:37-8 Jesus said: "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." Will you come? Will you invite others to come?
Join us on Saturday, March 24th, as we walk and pray together for the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God into our community and our nation. We are petitioning God for the health and the protection of deliverance of our community focusing on specific needs and events. Remember our Lord's words from Joshua 5:2-5, The Lord said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times. Have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in." We will meet at the Church at 10 am.
