Mission:
Our mission is to help members of our church become closer to God by instructing, equipping and engaging them in God's plan for active and expectant prayer lives.

Vision:
God’s word tells us that God is love. As such, He desires a close personal intimate relationship with His people. God wants us to bring Him our needs for healing, salvation, restoration, freedom from captivity, and protection. However, above all else, God wants us to put Him first in all things. God wants us to love Him as He loves us. It is through our impassioned connection with God, God's power is released in this world and He is glorified. One of the most effective ways to connect with God is prayer.

Our vision for the Waldorf Vineyard Christian Fellowship Prayer Ministry is to provide opportunities for training, equipping, and experiencing the full power of God through prayer. We will do this by:

● Providing culturally relevant learning opportunities that are biblical based, interactive and supportive of practical application;
● Providing opportunities for practical application together with outreach to the community;
● Providing training and practical application for intercessory prayer;
● Establishing prayer teams and inviting full participation;
● Providing opportunities for fellowship and sharing our experiences and testimonies; and
● Partnering with other ministry teams to foster prayer relationships and a prayer network.

EMERGE is our prayer initiative that is intended to enhance our corporate and individual prayer lives and provide plenty of opportunities to learn about prayer and practice praying. Our goal for EMERGE is to increase our level of comfort in praying and to become a church that is saturated with prayer.
