Purpose:
Our vision exists within the vision of The Waldorf Vineyard. We want to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace in order to know God more fully and be more fully known in Him.
We do so along with those who call on the Lord, even and especially on behalf of those who do not yet know the Lord with the goal that by making Jesus known to them they would eventually
be able to call on the Lord for themselves.
Goals:
● Provide opportunities to grow in righteousness and faith through Bible study and practical application of Biblical truths.
● Grow in love and peace with each other by offering opportunities to spend time together as women and pray for each other.
● Reach other people, especially other women, for Christ by serving the community with outreaches that we might all call up on
the Lord, both for equipping for service and to receive salvation.
Join us for our Women's Tea on Saturday, September 18th! This will be our last tea together this year! We'll be sharing about helpful ways to get more out of our Bible reading and praying for each other. Susan Jennings will be hosting it at her home from 10 am - Noon.
Genesis: The Beauty of God's Tender Mercy! Come and discover God's mercy and healing in your life as you study the life of Abraham in the book of Genesis with the TWV Women's Ministry! Lori Connell will lead us in finding beauty in our lives, even in those things we thought were lost or broken, as we look at the life of the man God called friend. This is a three week series on Thursday evenings this month and it will prepare you to get even more out of the upcoming women's retreat in October. The theme of the retreat is Beauty from Ashes and this study is the precursor to it so don't miss out on this chance to go deeper with the Lord and your girlfriends! The Waldorf Vineyard will be having a Women's Ministry Retreat in October! We will be partnering with the Vineyard Central Maryland Community Church again and this year we'll be going to the Eastern Shore! We've got a time share on private property with a house, cottage and fun center. Mark these dates, October 15-17 on your calendar now! Many women shared how God met them and changed them at last year's retreat and we are looking for the Lord to meet us in a powerful way again this year so that we might become his rare and beautiful treasures. Our theme this year comes from Proverbs 24:3-4. We are looking for ideas and people to lead a fundraiser to raise money for the retreat.
