Purpose:
Our vision exists within the vision of The Waldorf Vineyard. We want to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace in order to know God more fully and be more fully known in Him. We do so along with those who call on the Lord, even and especially on behalf of those who do not yet know the Lord with the goal that by making Jesus known to them they would eventually be able to call on the Lord for themselves.
Goals:
● Provide opportunities to grow in righteousness and faith through Bible study and practical application of Biblical truths.
● Grow in love and peace with each other by offering opportunities to spend time together as women and pray for each other.
● Reach other people, especially other women, for Christ by serving the community with outreaches that we might all call up on
the Lord, both for equipping for service and to receive salvation.
Did you know that 2012 has 5 months with 5 Sundays and why does that matter? The residents of the Angel's Watch Women's Shelter are forgotten on those days. Those are the days when no organization comes to them and we are going to change that! This year, on every fifth Sunday, we are going to bring a meal and interact with the shelter residents! This is our opportunity to bring Jesus to desperate women and their children. Mark your calendars and join us on: January 29, April 29th, July 29th, September 30th and December 30th.
No, it’s not the football game! (yet) It's the Kick-Off Breakfast for the Women's Ministry! Come join us Saturday the 4th, at 9 am, in the Church.
Our new Beth Moore Study will begin February 11th and continue for eleven weeks on Saturdays at 10 am. This is going to be another life changing study as we explore David's life and God's relationship to humankind with all its ups and downs. God will not give up on you. Come and learn why. The Sign up sheet is in the Sanctuary and the cost for the workbooks is $17.
